Snack Bites

Hello! Welcome to my healthy snack bites page. These recipes are great for satisfying hunger in a healthy way!

 

These snack bites can be coated in chocolate.

Organic chocolate chips are easily melted and used for this!

 

 

Peanut Butter Snack Bites

With and Without Chocolate

These are good for your skin and are protein packed!
Use as many organic ingredients as you can.

1 cup Almonds, fine ground (I use leftovers from making Almond Milk.)

2 tablespoons All Purpose Flour, organic

1/2 cup Sugar, organic is best

1 cup Peanut Butter, organic or all natural

1/4 teaspoon Salt, Himalayan

Directions: Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll into snack-sized bites and put on baking sheet (I line mine with parchment paper.).
Freeze for a few hours.

 

 

Put in containers.
Store in freezer for a few months or in the fridge for several days.

Tips: You can roll these in chocolate or other coating bits. Or you can add a few tablespoons of chocolate bits to the mix. You can add in spices. The possibilities are endless!

One batch low sugar peanut butter minus a few I ate. Hey, I had to test them.

LOW SUGAR PEANUT BUTTER SNACK BITES

These are good for your skin and are protein packed!
Use as many organic ingredients as you can.
Has about 46 grams of sugar for the whole batch.

1/2 cup Oats

1/4 cup Dried Cranberries

1 cup Almonds, fine ground (I use leftovers from making Almond Milk.)

2 tablespoons All Purpose Flour, organic

1 cup Peanut Butter, organic or all natural

1/4 teaspoon Salt, Himalayan

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

2 tablespoon Coconut Oil

Directions: Put oats and cranberries in a blender and blitz. Then pour them in a large bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients. Roll into snack-sized bites and put on baking sheet (I line mine with parchment paper.).
Freeze for a few hours.

Put in containers.
Store in freezer for a few months or in the fridge for several days.

Tips: You can roll these in unsweetened chocolate or other coating bits. Or you can add a few tablespoons of chocolate bits to the mix. You can add in spices. The possibilities are endless!

Green Chocolate Snack Bites

These are great vitamin-packed snacks.
They taste awesome and are a wonderful way to sneak in a little green goodness!
Tip: Use as many organic ingredients as you can.

4 ounces Unsweetened 100% Cacao Bar

1 cup Oats

1 cup Dried Cranberries

2 small Avocadoes, peel and seed removed

1/4 cup Honey, Raw

2 cups Almonds, finely ground (I use the leftovers from making Almond Milk.)

2 tablespoons Cacao Powder (I find it near the Chia Seeds in the store.)

1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Salt, Himalayan is good

Directions: Get out a big bowl. Break up cacao bar and put in a blender with the oats, cranberries, honey, and avocado. Now blitz the mix until you get the texture you want. Then spoon it into your big bowl and add all the rest of the ingredients and stir until well mixed.

Roll into bite-sized balls.
Put on baking sheet. (I line my baking sheet with parchment paper.)

Freeze for an hour or so.

Put in containers.

Store in fridge for a few days or in the freezer for a few months.

1 tablespoon Cacao Powder (I find it near the Chia Seeds in the store.)

1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Jam Snack Bites

 

These are great vitamin, protein packed snacks.
They taste awesome! Like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Tip: Use as many organic ingredients as you can.

1 cup Oats

1/2 cup Dried Cranberries, organic is best

1/2 cup Peanut Butter, organic is best

1 cup Almonds (I use the natural, sliced ones. Usually leftover from make Almond Milk.)

3/4 cup Jam, I use organic

1 tablespoon Coconut Oil

1 teaspoon Beet Root Powder (optional) (You won’t be able to taste the beets.)

1/4 teaspoon Salt, Himalayan

Directions: Put oats and cranberries in a food processor or blender and blitz to combine.
Put blitzed oats and cranberries along with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and stir until well blended. The dough will be sticky.
Spoon bite-sized balls onto a baking sheet. (I line my baking sheet with parchment paper.)
Freeze for an hour or so.

Store in fridge for a few days or in freezer for a few months

These taste like candy! My hubby loves them.
